Dream projects can be as fun as they are massive. Such was the case with our three-year, 13-season-long relationship with retail giant Urban Outfitters. The Philadelphia-based mega-brand asked us to help manage, art direct, and design its consumer catalog. National Forest worked closely with Urban’s in-house design and marketing teams, developing narrative, new aesthetics, and graphics to keep the company fresh and forward. We developed concepts for the catalogs, traveled the world art directing the photography, and returned to HQ to layout and design the final printed catalogs.
The graphics developed for the catalogs extended far beyond the printed books. Each season’s visual vocabulary was applied to marketing collateral, web banners, display windows, and retail store shopping environments.
